First-Year Student Resources

Big Red WelcomeWelcome to Cornell! In your first semester as an incoming first year student, we encourage you to take time and acclimate. Join clubs, build your support network, and set yourself up for academic success. You should meet with your home college/school and major advisors to make sure you’re in the right courses for your major/progress towards graduation.

HPAC Resources to Utilize:

Pre-Health Office Hours:
We encourage you to attend Office Hours, offered weekly, to meet with pre-health advisors in a group setting. These are short appointments designed for quick questions. Registration is encouraged but an appointment is not necessary, drop ins are welcome. You can find more information, as well as the registration link here.

Pre-Health Peer Leader (PHPL) Office Hours:
Come talk with our Pre-Health Peer Leaders (during the semesters) to learn more about the Cornell experience (from questions about pre-enrollment, research labs, to what clubs to join). PHPL Office Hours are offered weekly. No appointment necessary. More information can be found here.
